Edit All Rebar Runs ( Drawing Editor )

Tool summary :

  • Automatically opens a window for multi-editing all rebar runs that are on shown layers in your current drawing.
  • Shown layers are visible layers (layers marked " Show "). Since Edit All Rebar Runs works only on visible layers, you can -- prior to activating this tool -- turn off particular layers to exclude rebar runs that are on those layers from being edited.
  • Edit All Rebar Runs can help you to ensure that rebar runs are drawn consistently. When the 2D Rebar Run edit window opens, you can easily identify mixed entries because they are grayed out . If you then, for example, change the " Material pen color ," all the material element on all rebar runs will be assigned that same pen.
  • The selection of objects that is made prior to using Edit All Rebar Runs does not affect the operation of the tool, nor does the tool affect the selection. For example, if you have clouds selected before you activate the tool, the clouds remain selected after Edit All Rebar Runs is done.
  • To invoke Edit All Rebar Runs and edit all rebar runs that are on shown layers:

Method 1 : Click the Edit All Rebar Runs icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Rebar Runs ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Rebar Runs > Edit All .

Method 3, 4 or 5 : Edit All Rebar Runs can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
